Tomorrow I leave to trudge around in the permafrost of the mother country and do actual real adult work! I’ll be there for three months!
My internet access will be pretty shoddy so my ~web presence will probably decrease (from every day all day to probably almost every day).
Obviously I still intend to bore all of you to death with posts, so I’ve set up a queue. All posts tagged “qqq” mean that I am probably eating potatoes somewhere and not actually on the internet. Posts not tagged as such mean that I’m probably stealing someone’s wifi.
If anything of note happens (you change blogs, Ewan McGregor begins a music career, the United States falls into a giant sinkhole) please let me know. If you just feel like bothering me with something let me know anyway.

Essentially, if our secrets are secrets because we are told to be ashamed, then we must share them. There is no shame in being sad or struggling or trying to heal. We are all desperate, depraved and sacred. We are all terrible and brillIant. I can list all the things that can make a girl want to escape her own body (re: patriarchy). But I’d rather list all the things that make me want to stay in my body, and adorn it like a home, rub oils into my skin, tell it how sorry I am for trying to leave, for trying to hurt it into submission.
