Anonymous: Could you share the recipe for your soup?
Uhh well it was largely improvised so these might not be the exact amounts but:
Thoroughly sautee 2-3 yellow onions in butter until brown. Add one 14oz. can of beef broth and about 3/4 of a can of chicken broth. Add a cup of water. Then add a tablespoon of ketchup, a bit over 1/2tsp of black pepper, a bit over 1/2tsp of garlic salt (or just salt and a bit of garlic powder), 1/2 tsp of dried thyme, and a few bay leaves. Sprinkle in 2 good tablespoons of flour while stirring to thicken. Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Serve and stick some croutons and thin bits of asiago cheese on top and voila.
